2011, RIM Steady Qwerty Use

Blackberry manufacturer, Research In Motion (RIM), apparently still comfortable with a Qwerty keypad design and does not intend to rely on the touch screen too much this year.

This source noted that the manufacturer receives an order from RIM. via Digitimes, Wednesday, 26 January, the company's Taiwanese manufacturer that claims to have a list of product portfolio that will launched by RIM in 2011.

Blackberry Smartphone has a vast potential market in Asia and the Pacific. Even RIM has managed to master the smartphone market in Indonesia and is still able to increase brand awareness in China and India.

In China alone RIM has been a partner with two major operators, China Mobile and China Telecom. They say they also will hold another operator, China United Telecommunications, in the first quarter 2011.

Presented RIM VP Asia Pacific, Norm Lo, RIM is now working with 600 mobile operators or retail network in approximately 175 countries to market their Blackberry smartphones. In addition to the Blackberry, RIM will be ready to market the PC Playbook.
